Functioning

The plan is that Dbrains platform will be initially developed by a foundation, which will later transition development to its community members for collaborative growth.

Individuals who join Dbrains will have the opportunity to participate in and initiate projects facilitated by DAOs composed of collaborators, following a holacratic approach. Decision-making regarding project development and management rests with the DAO of collaborators, encompassing tasks such as adding new members and determining development strategies or features.

The Project Board provides public access to detailed information about each project, including its specific objectives, current status, development roadmap, and any required workforce skills. This board serves as a public forum to advertise projects to the wider community and attract potential contributors.

Within each project, a Dao's Board serves as an informational hub, providing the current project status for the members. It showcases accepted proposals actively being worked on, lists members and their assigned tasks, archives completed proposals, and offers access to project-related documents and repositories. The roadmap outlines planned future developments.

The process involves a Proposals Board that facilitates the creation of proposals, discussions, and voting . Various types of proposals cover aspects of project development, such as new features, task allocation, task assignment, task rewards, and task validation. Additionally, proposals related to project management include actions like adding new members and overseeing the project's treasury, including investment decisions and currency usage.

Dbrains leverages decentralized database technologies such as Ceramic and Lit-Protocol to guarantee the sovereignty, persistence, and privacy of project data. These technologies enable transparent monitoring of database interactions and granular control over access permissions.

Dbrains prioritizes human involvement, but we envision integrating AI to streamline governance processes and introduce AI agents as virtual collaborators to assist human team members in project development. Additionally, AI can be employed to identify and mitigate potential biases that may arise from human error or intentional manipulation in decision-making.
